Going through some rough times now. Also looking at it as an opportunity to grow up and be counted, taking responsible. Psalms 71:1, "In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge. Let me never be put to shame"

Let the safe haven of His wings protect my heart and safeguard from any harm and danger.

Just like the tides that changes its course, so are Malaysian views on Malaysia politics in Malaysia. Welcome to the new Malaysia. She had just went through her 12th election but the 1st BERSIH election. Don't know what is BERSIH, google it.
2004 Election result:
198 (Coalition Party-BN) vs 24 (Opposition) was the election result in the 11th election year 2004. The BN Government had rule the two-third majority for four years which promises a lot of change, a clean (corruption free) country and a well taken care nation. "You are my Rakyat and I am your Wakil Rakyat"
You can see for yourself what had happenned to Malaysia history in the span of just 4 years. Probably you won't be able to see it in your daily news paper like 'the Bintang' (translate it to English please) and the Old(opposite of Old is??) Straits Time because they are being controlled by the force, the force which can either through you into detention without trial or throw you with some sex scandal so you will not only bare the shame for the rest of your life but also ends your political journey.
Look at the petrol price now? How much is it compare to 4 years ago? "The government cannot subsidize no more. We have to be developing! We are moving to a developed nation!" Malaysian's petroleum which often used by the government to compare with our neighbouring country saying that our petrol are much cheaper than theirs, also blaming them for trying to come and steal the petrol. Err, halo, do you know that we have this LARGE petroleum company which every year generates millions if not billion of income and yet those are not used to subsidized the Rakyat but to use in our Kaki Lima project. (Coridor Projects). Malaysian have seen the MSC (Multimedia Super Kaki Lima) flops and we do not want another flop again! But now we have the Northern Kaki Lima, the East Coast Kaki Lima as well as the Sabah and Sarawak Kaki Lima. I think Encik Lah want to garner more Mat Rempit from these Kaki Lima to support his beloved son-in-law, btw congratulation on winning the Rembau seat in famously! (Yes finally you became somebody in the government!). Imagine calling Bush to stop the war and yet in his heart wish the war never end so that the oil price will go up and more money will be pumped into the fund and it can be shared by the Coalition.
2008 Election result:
Annoucing: 140 (Coalition) vs 82 (Opposition). No more two-third majority. We Know what you Did Last Election! Says the RAKYAT! We Rakyat had Enough! We had enough of high inflation! We had enough of crimes! We had enough of you topp guns playing around with our middle class tax payers money. Do you know that the rich getting richer, the poor getting poorer but the middle class getting no where! So, with all due respect to your wife, please step down! Look at how the Rakyat want their government to be. Look at Penang now. Look at Kedah. Look at Kelantan now (much stronger). Look at Perak (my goodness gracious!) and look at Selangor ( Yes! Goodbye FAS president). These are the voice of the struggling middle class who works so hard for this country in bringing the technology and innovation to you and you just take us for granted? This is not what Malaysia wants. This is not Parameswara wants when he menubuhkan kerajaan Melaka.
I still believe in a non bullied government. A humble but firm government. Not a tidak apa or tutup sebelah mata government of the Istana Zakaria government. These are really selfish people. We want quality MP who can voice out for us. We don't want MP who doesn't use their head while they are debating. (Encik Lah just slept over the Parliment debate. Sleeping-Lah). No more sexiest remarks should be made and MP must grow up to be a man not a boy from some kampung! We don't care what education you have. We don't care about your social status whether you are a Tan Sri or Encik. What we really care is Rakyat being put into priority when you discuss bills and ammending constitution.
So I really hope this new government that you be form together with a strong Opposition front, will make the Parliment a serious and somber place to discuss the bread and butter issue of ALL THE RAKYAT of Malaysia. I am really proud to be a Malaysian up until now and I will never leave this homeland of mine. We are waiting for your mandate and we Rakyat hope and bless this government, the Parliment and the Dewan Rakyat/Negara! God bless!
p/s: To all middle class out there, do something for yourself no matter who governs the country. When there is a will there is a way. Choose the right way.

EARN + Belief = Living Healthy, Living Happy.

regular Exercise - No matter how you take care of your diet, if you do not have regular exercise, it's not going to bring any good to ur body. Regular exercise 3 times a week, 30 minutes every time is consider a very good exercise. Regular exercise helps our blood circulation and also exercise our heart. Try walking in the park non stop for 15 to 20 mins, you will feel the difference. Try to burn some extra calories by walking stairs instead of taking the escalator. Exercise also train our muscles to have good reflexes.

positive Attitude - If everyday you condemn yourself and take pity about yourself, no one can help you because you have let yourself down. Start your day with a great and positive attitude. Tell yourself that you are the best in what you are doing. Make a boost in your confidence. Don't mistaken self-motivation with pride. Self-esteem vs Ego. You got to differentiate them. Scientifically, if we are stress out, we lose out of Vitamin C.

enough Rest - Sometimes, when we want to perform badly and let our bosses know that we are working, we worked late. Sometimes, its dire situation that forces us to work late too. Have you think of your organ? They too need to rest. Just give you an analogy. If we work late, we will get hungry. When we are hungry, we eat. When we eat, our sleeping organ are awaken and they were force to do work too. This actually is bad for health. So, if you are tired, sleep. Sufficient Rest of 6 to 7 hours are enough for our body to be refreshed the next day ;)

Nutrition - What we eat determine what we are. Your body is your best investment. If everyday you invest fried chicken into it, you will get friend chicken oil stuck in your body. <This is an analogy>. Be careful of what you partake, lest you will be glutton and drunkard. People always says nice food are always dirty (You know what I mean...). Nice to our taste but bad for our stomach. Eat according to the Pyramid Dietry and you still can enjoy good and healthy food. One may say, I am living healthily, eating healthily, how come I still need nutrient? Not all food that we eat supply us enough nutrition because of the way they are prepared. Moreover, if we want to take the RDI Recommended Daily Intake) of nutrient, we got to eat loads of stuff. Take antioxidants in vegetables and fruits for example. We ought to eat at least 5 servings of them. In addition to the pollution that is all around us and how pesticides are widely used and how live stock was given hormone injections, we are actually taking toxic every single day. That is why supplements are as important as the previous 3 that I mentioned.

Belief - Divinity in giving us everlasting peace. If you are a not a Christian, I believe the religion that you embrace will give you the peace of mind and you will be refreshed after you have an intervention with your divine. For Christian, we believe Jesus is our provider, our source of help and refuge. All our plans and vision, our goals and dreams, they are all laid before Him. We are consistently ask, seek and knock so that His will will be done on Heaven and Earth. Having Jesus in my life gave me an extra help in my life in handling a lot of things. His word in the Bible is my guidance. If you would like to have Jesus into your life, its free! All you need to do is Ask for His Forgiveness for the sins you have done in your life, Repent and Renounce of your sins and lastly Confess with your mouth and Believe with your heart that Jesus is the Lord and Saviour of your life. You can end the pray with Amen which means "So be it". I wish you Jesus and live a healthy and happy life ;)

Life as a secret Christian convert
By Linda Pressly
BBC Radio 4's Crossing Continents

Abandoning Islam for Christianity is such a sensitive issue in Malaysia that many converts find themselves leading a secret, double life.

"If people know that I've converted to Christianity, they might take the law into their own hands. If they are not broadminded, they might take a stone and throw it at me."

Maria - not her real name - is a young Malaysian woman who has lived a secret and sometimes fearful life since she converted from Islam to Christianity.

Apostasy, as it is known, has become one of the most controversial issues in Malaysia today.

Maria became a Christian over a decade ago when she was 18. She says no-one forced her to convert, that she made the decision after studying different religious texts.

If my family find out I am no longer a Muslim they will completely cut me off
Maria

Conversion is deemed so sensitive in Malaysia that even the priest who baptised her refused to give her a baptismal certificate.

And, even now, the church she attends asked her to sign a declaration stating the church is not responsible for her conversion.

"My church says if the authorities come, they are not going to stand up for me. I have to stand up for myself," she said.

Not even Maria's family know she has converted.

"If my family find out I am no longer a Muslim they will completely cut me off. That means my name in the family will be erased.

"I could migrate, but the problem is I want to stay in Malaysia, because this is my country. And I love my family. I just want to live peacefully."

Heated debate

Malay-Muslims make up 60% of Malaysia's population. The rest are mostly Christians, Hindus and Buddhists.

But many Malaysian Muslims believe that people like Maria pose a threat to Islam.

And the debate between those who say Maria should have the right to officially convert, and those who are against apostasy has become so heated that the prime minister has asked both sides not to discuss sensitive religious questions in public.

If the authorities find out, I will be in big trouble
Maria
Fearful of what could happen, Maria would only talk to us on the phone from the privacy of her car.

She is very aware of the possible consequences of her decision to become a Christian if she is discovered.

"If the authorities find out, I will be in big trouble. They will create hell between me and my family, and hell in my life so that I will no longer get any privileges or employment."

Her fears are not unfounded. Another convert - Lina Joy - has been forced to go into hiding since her case went to court.

And at least one of the lawyers involved in that case has had a death threat against him.

Apostasy order

Both Lina Joy and Maria want to make their conversion legal.

That means changing the identity cards that state they are Muslim.

Until now, the state has refused to do this until an apostasy order is granted from the Sharia court.

But both women claim they are no longer Muslim, so why should they go to the Sharia court?

For Maria there is a lot at stake. She has a boyfriend who is also a Christian and knows she is too.

The couple want to get married. But while Maria is still officially a Muslim, the only way they could wed in Malaysia would be if he converted to Islam.

And Maria's family - unhappy with her choice of partner - are pressuring him to do just that.

Crucial time

Maria is tired of living a double life.

"It's very frustrating," she tells us tearfully. "It means I have to limit my scope with friends.

"I have to be able to completely trust someone before I dare to reveal myself.

"I know some other secret converts, but I never keep in touch with them.

"I can't let my network widen, because you don't always know who you are dealing with."

I feel that I am all alone in this struggle
Maria
Only a tiny number of people have converted from Islam in Malaysia.

But the coming months will be crucial for them because a decision is expected in the case of Lina Joy.

The outcome of that case may well determine whether Maria will be able to live the life she dreams of - to be married to her boyfriend and live openly as a Christian.

Right now she can't imagine it.

"I feel that I am all alone in this struggle," she says, "and I am frightened because I am alone against the odds."

An abstract from HP. http://h20271.www2.hp.com/SMB-AP/cache/498461-0-0-131-121.html?jumpid=em_di_615208_MY_GB_0_006&diaid=di_hpc_gb_397207_MY

E-mail is an amazingly helpful tool but it is also a largely impersonal one. Working in isolation on your notebook without face-to-face contact can lead to a wide range of miscommunications.

In fact, how we communicate often depends on whether we physically interact or do our ‘talking’ through e-mail. People often ‘say’ things through e-mail that they would never say to someone’s face.

This is particularly obvious to anyone who has ever been ‘flamed’ (that is, having received an angry, embarrassing, or offensive e-mail).

Without any facial expressions, voice intonations or any other cues, it is easy to misread an e-mail. Was it intended as straightforward, ironic or humorous? Even a sentence such as ‘you did great work today’ can take on a thousand different meanings depending on who wrote it, and how you feel at the time.

For the writer, who may rarely if ever see the intended recipient, there is no social blocker in place to mediate their behaviour. Whether angry, upset or simply uncaring, there is nothing in place to stop them from fully expressing themselves.

Even if they had no overt intention to cause offence, what they may assume is innocent, even funny, can come across as rude, patronising and insulting.

There are however a few quick tips that can keep you cool under pressure, whether you feel the need to flame someone or whether you’ve just been flamed yourself.

Before you send

 1. Always think twice

Okay, you’re angry or upset. Write your e-mail. Save it. Read it. Go have a coffee. Read it again. Then ask yourself the big question – is it really worth sending? Chances are it isn’t.

2. Keep it clean

Remember that everyone will interpret things differently. Jokes, pictures and lewd comments can truly offend.

3. Empathise with the reader

Think of the things you don’t like to receive in an e-mail. For example, are people always shouting IMPORTANT things in upper case, using hundreds of abbreviations and emoticons, sending large attachments? If you don’t like receiving certain things, why send them to others?

4. Check the ‘send to’ list before you send

Believe it or not, everyone doesn’t want to read your e-mail and you just might be sending your scathing thoughts about someone to everyone.

5.  Be polite

Whether at your desk or texting a message from your phone, saying ‘hello’ and ‘thanks’ can make a huge difference.

6.   Resist temptation

Yes, something was said. Yes, maybe you were criticised. Perhaps you were CC’d on an exchange between a colleague and your boss. How you respond next will say everything about you. Remember, once something is said, it can never be taken back.

7.  See Point 1.

Blog EntryInvest in a womanMay 16, '07 1:33 AM
for everyone

To the guys, APPRECIATE. To the ladies, THANK YOU!

It's a great fortune to invest your time in a woman, especially a good
woman. If you are an experienced man, you would certainly agree with me.

Women are peculiar species. If you have succeeded in conquering her heart,
she will ceaselessly sacrifice for you till the end of your life.

Just think over, you just spend a little of your time to go out for dinner
with her, watch a movie or give her a simple gift, or say a few words to
touch her heart or you promise her that you will bring happiness till the
end of her life, or take time to help her kill some cockroaches in the
kitchen, or sometimes spend some efforts helping her to carry some heavy
stuff, or to open the car door for her. Continue to do all the above
things and care for her well-being for 2 to 3 years to come........

What do you get in return?

You will be amazed to find that you have a woman whom would continue to
care for your well-being for the rest of your life. She will wait for you
at the door steps with a naïve and sweet smile each time when you meet her
(of course, you don't get the sweet smile when you are arguing with her),
nevertheless, she would still prepare a warm dinner for you after the
heated argument has faded away...

The greatest of all things she has done for her life, is to give birth to
your child (of course, the unbearable pain need not be mentioned here)...
She would continue to care and feed the child that carry your surname for
many years to come no matter how naughty your child would be.

On top of that, she also does the thing you that hated the most, i.e.
doing housework, washing your clothes, sleep your child and tossing alone
in the bedroom waiting for you at night for your return. For some of you,
you would rather spend some time drinking with your friends at the bar and
telling her that you have important assignments in the office, letting her
to wait for your return in the living room till the wee hours of the
morning ...

When you are down, she will be the first to encourage you. When you are
happy, she would be the first to feel for your happiness before you open
your mouth to tell her by looking at your face. When you achieve some good
results at work or assignments, she feels the happiness with all her heart
and pray to God to protect and bless you with more successes in the
future.

Despite all the above, you repay her by asking her to talk less and tell
her not to bother your work. You ask her to sleep when she wanted to spend
some precious time with you sharing with some simple happenings of the
day. Sometimes, you are too proud to take her out when you are out with
your friends. Can you feel that the suffering that she has to endure for
the next 30 years of her life staying with someone like you?

And for men, for the next 30 years, what do you do to repay her gratitude;
you are only capable to continue to do what you know.......to work

Please continue to appreciate the woman of your life....

If you noticed that if there any women whom start to show some sacrifices
to you, your door to the days of happiness has opened before you ....

Please grab the opportunity to share the happiness with her and help her
to be the man of her dreams....

At last, Sir Alex's team had fulfill one of the wildest dream of this season which not only to prevent Chelsea from gaining a hattrick on the EPL crown but to win it as well. Thanks to Arsene Wenger's Arsenal (the manager which Sir Alex had always have a row with before Jose came along and make enemies with everyone) who manage to drew at home against Chelsea, United will travel to Stamford Bridge with the crown. The 3 to nothing defeat last season in Stamford Bridge was still lingering in me. But whatever result from the coming game, Manchester United is the eligible winner, the King of English football for season 06/07. The FA Cup will be held on the 19th of May, 2007 ironically against Chelsea in the newly built Wembley. FA Cup win was always the sweetest as it always produce fantastic result and goals. I hope to see a good fight between them. Of course, although Manchester United might go to the finals as underdog, history tells that underdogs always sprung surprises! No doubt, Chelsea are a cash-rich club, with the likes of Michael Ballack, Essien, Kalou, Peter Ceh, JT and Lampard, Man Utd is a prefect example of a cost saving effective team. They have changed the entire gameplay to Brazilian style and aggressive counter attacks. I particularly loves Gabriel Heinz because of his hardwork on the ball but sometime he being too overly enthusiastic can spoil the great game. However, let us look into the league battle between the 2 giants of EPL on Thursday morning 3am. Whatever result, Manchester United are the worthy champion!

Blog EntryRight way to eat instant noodlesApr 8, '07 9:55 PM
for everyone

An abstract from Ling Hock's email:

Here is some knowledge I feel that it is very helpful to everybody. I would like to share with everyone of u. Learn How to Eat Instant Noodle Correct. Have A Nice Day Ahead.

Over dinner last night, I've found something new from our friends here on the correct way to eat instant noodles without harming our bodies and health.

Normally, how we cook the instant noodles is to put the noodles into a pot with water, throw in the powder and let it cook for 3 mins around and then ready to eat. This is the WRONG method of cooking the instant noodles.

By doing this, when we actually boil the ingredients in the powder, normally with MSG, it will change the molecular structures of the MSG causing it to be toxic. The other thing that you may or may not realized is that, the noodles are coated with wax and it will take around 4 to 5 days for the body to excrete the wax after you have taken the noodles.

So the CORRECT method, which you may or may not know, is to cook the noodles this way -
1. Boil the noodles in a pot with water.
2. Once the noodles is cooked, take out the noodles, and throw away the water which contains wax.

3. Boil another pot of water till boiling and put the noodles into the hot boiling water and then shut the fire.

4. Only at this stage when the fire is off, and while the water is very hot, put the ingredient with the powder into the water, to make noodle soup.

5. However, if you need dry noodles, take out the noodles n add the ingredient with the powder and toss it to get dry noodles.

Hope this piece of information is of importance to your health in relation
to eating instant noodles and please apply this cooking method with immediate effect.

Went to Green Box in Sungei Wang on Thursday with housemates. Guess how much? rm26 + rm 3.90(tax) = RM30; paid for tibits, buffet, and free flow of drink. We started singing from 7pm until 12.30am. Fuu-Yoh! Personal favourite song: Guardian Angel by Tank. I've learnt how to play the chords. Just need to memories the lyrics now. Wahaha. Had fun time there. Took LRT from Kelana Jaya to KL Sentral then transit using monorail to Lot Ten. It took me about 30mins to reach there.

Yeah yeah! Will come again!

p/s: They also have a PS2, so you actually can play game while waiting for your turn to sing. hihihi

"When I fall down, You picked me up. When I am down, You are there. When I am lost, I found by You. You never let me go"

In this world, there are countless of people, struggling in their pursuit for happiness. Some struggled to find a way out. Some, of course struggled to get loose from things that tighten their life. Mr Bean in "The Holiday" was one of my many favourite movie character. He is Mr Bad Luck. He is the mirror of many of us. He has his selfish side, his kindness and innocent, his cheekiness. He too, like most of us, face circumstances everyday, maybe worst than most of us. In this movie, he won a trip to Cannes, France. A beach side vacation. But going to this place, he works really hard. He went through frustration, he banged the floor, jumping around venting his frustration but the thing that I liked most about him is that, he is quick in calming down himself and find another way out. He never gave up.

Well, many of us will say he is only a movie character. But indeed this movie gave me an insight of what human needs to go through everyday in life. Learn to pick up oneself.

Go Bean Go.....

Holiday

1 : HOLY DAY
2 : a day on which one is exempt from work; specifically : a day marked by a general suspension of work in commemoration of an event
3 chiefly British : VACATION -- often used in the phrase on holiday; often used in plural
4 : a period of exemption or relief holiday>

I've browsed through Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary and found the meaning for these 2 words.

I believe I need both Retreat(3) and Holiday(4). But where should I go? What should I do? I've got no ideas at all? What should I bring? Usually, when I was in high school and university, I followed church camps. Now, I long to have one but I am not attached to any church.

Life had been messy. Ups and Downs. Very uncertain and unpredictable. Expectations aren't met in life. I expect too much. People are expecting you.

"Life is like a movie and you are your owns life lead actor, not the best friend" - taken and revised from the Holiday.

To think of it, since I started work June 2004, I have not really gone for a retreat, some place where I can sit still and be quiet, listening to His voice and commune with Him. I just dono how to be the lead actor, always felt like being pushed around by people surrounding me. Do I really need what I want?

Until now, I am still very confused.

Blog EntryMan United ended Benfica's jinxDec 7, '06 12:37 AM
for everyone

Woke up at 4.30am in the morning just in time to catch the second half action. When I saw the half time statistic, I was shocked! Man Utd 1, Benfica 1. Will this be a repeat of last year Champions League 2nd round qualifying when Benfica edge Man Utd 3-2? Will Man Utd, whose team is the strongest and youngest thus far according to Sir Alex Ferguson, break into the second round? After letting down 2 games in Copenhagen and in Celtic, the team faces a do-or-die mission in Old Trafford.

In the first half of the game, (according to soccernet.com), Man Utd played slow pace football. They were not worried of their defence and concentrate more on short passes and attacking. Their nerves does not get onto them until the 27th minutes when Nelson of Benfica scored a stunning one timer from a Simao's pass. He was totally unmarked. I saw the replay of the goal and boy, it was superbly done. Well controlled kick.

After the visitor scored, the devils began to freak. They began to do more attacking and in one point, Evra was left on the last man defence with 2 visiting players pressing and pushing for their second goal. C. Ronaldo's stunning freekick was being saved by the keeper. That was the best chance. Perserverance rewards the home team as Nemanja Vidic header in the equaliser from a Giggs-Ronaldo set piece 1 minute into the first half injury time.

My heart was pumping when I started to watch it live during the second half. C. Ronaldo was very active. Winger, striker, even in the defence. His freekick is comparable to Beckhams, if not better. At least he scores penalty and not the rugby post. Man Utd tried hard. slow pace attacking had a suddenly change after the prep talk by the manager during the break. Offensive is the best defence. The game took a 180 degree turn when C. Ronaldo cooly taken cross found Ryan Giggs and headed into the right corner of the net. Fantastic. The crowd was ecstatic! After the goal, Giggs was subbed for Flecther. Earlier, Heinze replaced Evra after he limped out from a crucial tackle of Simao's low cross near the home team goal post.

C.Ronaldo again threaten the visitor by some of his tricks and at one point, was found free to dribble into the box and call for a PENALTY! This is not a dive but obviously the referee must have been mean on him after his controversial penalty against Middlesbrough few days ago. The Man called for a corner kick. Flecther proved his worth when he curled in the corner only to find Saha, whose shirt being pulled by the defender, headed in the killer blow for Man Utd. Wonderful goal.

All 3 goals scored by United are from header. T.Henry, I think you should learned from us! Fantastic. The game ended without injury time and the both the team exchanged shirt before going into the dressing room. Kudos Alex Fergie and his boys!

We shall wait and see the 2nd round draw next week and until then, Sayornara. Adious!
